The materials behind every mold.

We work in three materials, each chosen for the job. Pick one to see what it is, what it's best for, and how to look after it.

The material

Food-grade, platinum-cure silicone, cast over a precision 3D-printed master. Flexible, non-stick, and it holds very fine detail, so every cast comes out crisp.

Best for

Plating stencils, tuile mats and silicone molds: chocolate, mousse and entremets, jelly, and dusting powders. Freezer and oven friendly within its temperature range.

Care

  • Wash in warm, soapy water before first use.
  • Dishwasher safe, top rack recommended.
  • Keep within -40°C to 230°C; no direct flame or grill.
  • Avoid knives and sharp tools on the silicone.
  • Dry fully and store flat, out of direct sunlight.
