A sturdy trunk rises from spreading roots and opens into a dense canopy of branches and leaves, all held inside a round frame. The Tree of Life Tuile Mold bakes a detailed, symbolic disc that works as well on savoury plates as on sweet ones, and reads clearly even as a small garnish. It comes in two formats: a single mat for one large tuile, or a 3-cavity mat that bakes three smaller tuiles at once.
Use the batter of your choice: a classic butter tuile for a clean golden finish, a coloured tuile tinted with cocoa, matcha or fruit powder, or a sesame or almond tuile for a toasty bite. While the tuile is still warm and pliable, it can be draped over a rolling pin or bowl, so it dries into a curved shape.
The tree of life suits weddings, anniversaries, family celebrations and nature-themed menus, as well as autumn harvest tables and garden parties. Set it on a mousse cake, a tart or a plated dessert where its silhouette can stand out. As with all Quick3D Silicone pieces, the Tree of Life Tuile Mold begins as a precision 3D-printed master before being cast in food-grade platinum silicone. Custom tuile designs are available on request, with low minimum order quantities for bakeries, chocolatiers and F&B brands.
