The Squash Tuile Mold brings a harvest-time illustration to the plate. A ribbed squash sits at the base, its stem rising into long, looping vines that carry pointed leaves and tight curling tendrils across the full width of the cavity. It comes in two formats: a single mat for one large tuile, or a 3-cavity mat that bakes three smaller tuiles at once.
Spread a classic butter tuile batter for a clean golden finish, or tint it with cocoa for a dark, graphic silhouette. Pumpkin-orange tones work well with a little carrot or sweet potato powder, and matcha gives a leafy green. Sesame and almond batters add toasted flavour. Soften the shape by draping the warm tuile over a rolling pin so the vines curve naturally.
This motif is made for autumn and harvest menus, Halloween and Thanksgiving-style desserts, spiced cakes, pumpkin pies and cocktails with a seasonal twist. It also works year-round on plates that celebrate vegetables and farm produce. As with all Quick3D Silicone pieces, the Squash Tuile Mold begins as a precision 3D-printed master before being cast in food-grade platinum silicone for fine, repeatable detail. Custom tuile designs are available on request, with low minimum order quantities for bakeries, chocolatiers and F&B brands.
